Our Roaring 20s Gala & Auction raised over $57,000 for our school!!!!
Our inaugural Gala & Auction was a tremendous success! That success is all due to the dedicated parents, families, friends and businesses of our school community. Even our kids played a huge role in selling raffle tickets and making unique crafts that went to the highest bidder! Thank you to our inaugural event Chairs - Jaime Diehl and Dana Heron for leading the effort that involved planning the Gala from the ground up. You helped over two dozen volunteers come together to plan our school's most successful fundraising event!
Silent Auction Highlights
The Silent Auction consisted of a variety of baskets ranging in value from $30 to over $1,000!!! Themes included Home Entertainment System, professional photography sessions, gym memberships, luxury bags, sporting event tickets, Trolls, Penn State, spa packages, wine tours, restaurant gift cards and Lego towers, to only name a few. Over 150 baskets were available for bidding!
Live Auction Highlights
The Live Auction was lead by our one and only auctioneer, Wayne Murphy! From the podium, our class-donated gift baskets, unique class crafts, and teacher experiences went to the highest bidder which ignited the room in energy, support and a whole lot of laughter!! Our amazing teachers donated their time for experiences that included trips to the movies with Mrs. Culhane and Mrs. Heston, lunch and mani/pedis with Mrs. Romano and Mrs. McDonald, Gym Teacher for a Day, and a limo ride to ice cream with Ms. Clark! Adults were offered some great experiences as well! Up for grabs were tickets in the suite for a Phillies game, tour of NFL Films, dinner with the pastors, luxury car experience, Sea Isle City shore house vacation and a street sign with your family name at the school entrance!
Grand Prize Classroom Competition
Ms. Clark challenged our school children to see who could sell the most raffle tickets for the Grand Prize - a family trip to Great Wolf Lodge which included a $500 gift card!!! The winning class won a pajama day of the teacher's choosing which included popcorn AND A MOVIE!! Last year, Mrs. Zimmerman's class (4B) was the Bee's Nees with 168 tickets sold!! Great job, 4B!
